This rifle is shipped from the factory fully assembled and ready to shoot after removing the grease from its bore. TO LOAD MAGAZINE : Hold the magazine box firmly with one hand and with the other, insert cartndge at the throat of the magazine. Push the cartridge at the spring follower head down and forward towards the ing notch until it is securely locked. A maximum of len rounds can be loaded. TO ATTACH MAGAZINE : Load the magazine into the magazine box clearance of the receiver-trigger guard housing assembly, push the magazine box inward until it locks in place. TO DETACH MAGAZINE : Press magazine latch and, simultaneously, the magazine will automatically detach and fall. TO MAKE GUN SAFE : Safety button is at .he bottom portion of the trigger guard housing just in front of the trigger guard. Push the left side of the button to move it towards the right side where it will protrude. At this position, the sear is locked-up in the process and gun cannot be fired. TO LOAD CHAMBER : Draw safety on and insert a loaded magazine into the rifle. Retract bolt handle fully to the rear of the receiver slot and release. Allow the bolt to be snapped back under the full force ·of the operating spring. Bolt automatically picks up a cartridge from the magazine and feeds it into the chamber. Do not ease bolt forward. TO FIRE : Be sure gun is pointed at a safe target. Release safety and pull trigger. Pressure from the burning powder opens up bolt, ejects empty shell, and reloads the chamber for the next shot. Pull trigger again. Gun fires as fast as trigger is pulled until magazine is empty. TO UNLOAD WITHOUT FIRING : Draw safety on and release the magazine from guard. Work action several times to remove any cartridge left inside the chamber. Slide bolt handle rearward with your right thumb as far .as it will go and press bolt lock located at bottom part of the trigger guard housing with your right forefinger without releasing bolt handle. Release hold of the bolt handle before releasing the bolt lock. This locks the bolt in place. Inspect the chamber to make sure no cartridge is left. Empty magazine can be placed back if ·desired. To close the bolt, press it rearward so that bolt lock can be easily pressed, and release hold of bolt lock before releasing the bolt. I. DISASSEMBLY A. TAKEDOWN 1. Remove the magazine by pressing the magazine latch. 2. Loosen barrel takedown screw and barrel band and detach the barrel-receiver assembly from the gunstock. B. RECEIVER- BARREL DISASSEMBLY 1. Loosen and detach barrel retainer screws ·- ·'and p"ulrthe barrEH fron'l the receiver. C. RECEIVER- TRIGGER GUARD HOUSING DISASSEMBLY 1. Disassemble the receiver and trigger guard housing by punching out the two receiver cross pins and bolt stop pin.

Pull the bolt handle until it reaches the end of the bolt guide rail. Then pull the bolt out of the receiver. D. TRIGGER GUARD HOUSING DISASSEMBLY

Remove all the pivot pins by punching them out and carefully remove all the small parts (such as trigger assembly, bolt lock, bolt lock spring, ejector, magazine latch, magazine plunger, magazine plunger spring, hammer, hammer strut, hammer spring and hammer bushing) inside the trigger guard housing until only the safety button is left.

To remove safety button, just rotate the button until the safety detent plunger that locks the button in place. is now seated on the button radial surface. lu.tt'lis position , push the button out of the trigger guard housing. Be careful as the safety detent plunger and safety detent plunger spring inside are under compression.

BOLT DISASSEMBLY 1.

Remove the firing pin stop pin by punching it out and pull the firing pin out of its slot but be careful with the firing pin rebound spring because it is too small, it might get lost.

To remove the extractor, just push the extractor plunger flush to its hole using a pin punch or any pointed rod until extractor is free to be pulled out from the bolt. Then remove the extractor plunger and the spring .

II. ASSEMBLY A. BOLT ASSEMBLY 1. At normal position of the bolt, insert the extractor plunger w/ the spring into the extractor plunger hole and push the plunger until its head is flush to the wall of the extractor clearance hole. While the plunger is depressed, insert the extractor to its slot on the bolt with the catch to the front and the hook into the extractor clearance hole and after attaining the right position, release the plunger to hold the extractor in-place. 2. At same position. place the firing pin rebound spring in the slot at the rear of the firing pin rebound spring stop pin.(Note:The firing pin rebound spnng stop pin is permanently attached to the bolt.) Then the firing pin is inserted to its slot on top of the bolt from the rear to compress the spring. 3. Press the firing pin backward until the firing pin oval slot is aligned to the hole on the bolt, then insert the firing pin stop pin. B. TRIGGER GUARD HOUSING ASSEMBLY 1. SAFETY BUITON: Insert the safety detent plunger with the spring into the safety detent plunger hole on the trigger guard housing. Press the safety detent plunger until its tip is flush to the hole surface. While in this position ,insert the safety button into its respective hole from the left side of the trigger guard housing and push it until the safety detent plunger locks it in-place. (Note: Be careful since the sc.fety detent plunger
