This version of LandSerf is not provided with a Java Runtime Environment and requires Java 1.5 or higher installed on your machine to work. Note that MacOSX (10.4 and above) should already have the correct version of Java installed.  If you do not have a suitable version of Java installed on your machine, please  a free copy from www.java.com. LandSerf is available for Windows, Linux and MacOSX. To  right click (or normal click on Mac) on the relevant link below and 'Save link as...' somewhere on your computer. landserf230WindowsInstall.jar.zip (12.9 Mbytes) landserf230LinuxInstall.jar (13.1 Mbytes) landserf230MacOSXInstall.jar (13.2 Mbytes) Windows version only: After ing the .zip file, unzip it to produce a single .jar file (the MacOSX and Linux versions are already in .jar format). Windows and MacOSX s with Java installed can usually double­click on this .jar file and follow the installation instructions. For Linux s, and those for whom double clicking does not work, open a command line window (e.g. shell window on Unix/Linux/MacOS or 'cmd' window in Windows). 'cd'  to  the  directory  in  which  you  have  saved  the  jar  file  and  then  type  java  ‐jar  landserf230MyPlatformInstall.jar  where  MyPlatform  is  the  name  of  your operating system (either Windows, Linux or MacOSX). You should be presented with a sequence of installation screens similar to those below. Follow the instructions presented to install the software.
