Initial Kick-off meeting Welcome to Initial planning meeting-hosted by Port of Pittsburgh o Intro Pittsburgh organizers - Sector Ohio Valley, MSU Pittsburgh, Waterways Association of Pittsburgh, Port of Pittsburgh Commission. Items for discussion Conference agenda format o All Coast Guard Session-Monday. Topics – Aids to Navigation, Bridge Program, Waterways management, and Area and Maritime Security o Main conference Tuesday thru Thursday. Sessions – Plenary and Break-out. o Speakers/ s - guidelines for presentations TRB status report on venue contract Conference theme - Discuss theme and topic suggestions Conference sessions. Suggest topics for individual sessions. Keynote Speakers o Suggest speakers for Keynote Address, Lunch(es), Closing. o Consider Congressional Committee , Government officials, Industry Representatives. Discuss receptions o Welcome reception o Evening reception HSC of the Year Award Public Outreach o Save the date flyers - Once a date and Hotel is selected, a save the date flyer will be produced by TRB. 2-3 photos will be needed for the flyer, as well as official names of the HSC’s and AMSC’s. Additional photos will be needed for the conference handouts. o ALCOAST- released after venue is selected and event dates finalized. o Public Affairs / Calendar of Events o HSC Blog
