Some Assessment Tools in Affective Domain Self-Report This is the most common measurement tool in the affective domain. It essentially requires an individual to provide an of his/her attitude or feelings toward a concept or idea or people. It is sometimes called “written reflections”.

The stapel scale is like a semantic differential scale with little modifications. It is often used in the situations when two bi-polar adjectives are difficult to find out. The data obtained are the interval and are analyzed in the same manner as the semantic differential data.
