IN CASE OF FAILURE OF THE SYSTEM THE MONITORING CIRCUITRY: - MEMORIZES THE FAULT IN A NON-VOLATILE MEMORY - ISOLATES THE FAULTY CHANNEL - GENERATES THE APPROPRIATE DISCRETE SIGNALS - TRANSMITS CONTINUOUSLY A SYSTEM STATUS MESSAGE TO THE CFDIU VIA THE ARINC 429 BUS.
