Grammar and the four main skills - speaking, listening, reading and writing – are all taught on an integrated basis. Levels: Beginner to Advanced. Class Size: Average 7-10. Max 15.
General English + Conversation/ Cultural Lessons Monday to Friday: 9.30-13.30 + Monday to Wednesday: 14.15-16.15 Conversation-based classes help provide the confidence and tools to function successfully in an English-speaking country. The cross-cultural aspect is very important to us the opportunity to discover different traditions and appreciate aspects of Ireland’s rich culture.
General English + Exam Preparation Monday to Friday: 9.30-13.30 + Monday to Wednesday: 14.15-16.15 Kenilworth has proven success in preparing students for major English examinations including Cambridge (First Cert/ Advanced), IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC. These exams are recognized by employers and educational authorities around the world.
General English + Business Monday to Friday: 9.30-13.30 + Monday to Wednesday: 14.15-16.15 Business English Programmes are driven by the professional needs of the participants. Areas covered include professionspecific lessons as well as general business skills such as making presentations, meetings or socializing in a business environment.
One-to-One Tuition One-to-one tuition can take the form of full immersion or a combined course of General English plus individual classes.
Evening Classes Monday to Thursday: 18.45-20.45 Most popular with au-pairs or professionals already working in Dublin. Classes include both General English and Exam Preparation.
Summer Junior School: Monday to Saturday: 9.30-16.30 + Two evenings: 19.00-21.00 During July/August we run a school for learners aged 13-17 at our Terenure College summer centre. The emphasis is on tuition in a happy, fun and stimulating environment. Classes in the morning with full afternoon, evening and Saturday activities programme.
