Mr. Corbetta was visiting Pakistan to explore venes of collaboration as well as the possibility of setting up a woodworking institute in Pakistan. Speaking in Islamabad, the Italian furniture expert said Chiniot could prosper and develop into a furniture manufacturing centre of world repute if the cluster was to incorporate better work conditions, quality workmanship, specialized and hand-held machinery and especially contemporary design.
