Welcome to our company: We are a Libyan Company established and located at Tripoli, Essouani Road, km 2nd, P.O. Box 71041. Our main activities are Seismic Exploration for Oil & Gas Industry. Our first operational crew, named: M017-1, is a modern deep desert exploration for 3D Seismic Data Acquisition.

ADHAN MURZUK OIL SERVICES COMPANY (AMOS GROUP) was established in 2007 by dedicated people in oil and other civil industries, to participate in the fast growing field of oil services required by the quite large number of oil exploring and producing companies presently operating in Libya. These logistic and technical services vary and include technical such as equipment maintenance, provision of skilled labor, transport, supply of various materials, and construction projects within the oilfields and town premises of the oil companies.

A branch of this group called (Murzuk Exploration Company (MEC)) is dedicated for oil exploration services such as seismic operations. See separate profile. Recently, another branch has been added to this group under the name (Adhan Murzuk for Import of Transport Equipment and Workshop Supplies (AMITEWS)) to handle commercial activity in and outside of Libya. Following are services that can be provided by this Company:          

Supply of fuel and lubricants to various locations in the desert. Maintenance services for crude oil storage tanks and other oilfield facilities. Line pipe laying and maintenance. Maintenance and operating of water wells in the oilfields Preparation of oil-well sites Civil works required for well site, camp site and production facilities, Other logistic services required by oil companies. Rental of earth moving equipment with highly skilled operators. Rental of trucks for transport of materials/equipment plus 4wd light trucks for personnel transport within various oilfield locations. Provision of skilled/unskilled labor.

We own our transportation means such as light and heavy trucks, with sufficient handling equipment such as cranes, forklifts, front loaders and other ing equipment. We also own our work premises with sufficient office and storage space. We are well established an licensed to import all our requirements from abroad such as special equipment related to the services we provide, plus special supplies and spare parts. As our activity was enlarged in the recent years, we have established reliable s with some local firms in the main seaports such as Tripoli, Misurata, Benghazi and Derna including agencies for customs clearance. The fast growing local market for transport equipment in general and related supplies, plus other requirements for oil industry, a new specialized company has been established under the name Adhan Murzuk for Import of Transport Equipment and Workshop Supplies (AMITEWS) to manage the importation of the following equipment and materials for distribution in the Libyan market: 1. Light and heavy duty vehicle for general transport. 2. All kind of workshop equipment and supplies. 3. Lubricants and greases for transport equipment and other machinery. 4. Earth moving equipment and accessories. 5. Transport handling equipment such as cranes, forklifts, winches, front loaders etc. 6. Bolts and nuts, bearings, gaskets and oil seals. 7. Safety materials and supplies. Work clothes and safety shoes.

8. Safety equipment and monitoring systems. 9. Alarm systems for offices and industrial facilities.

The offices of this company are located in Tripoli and Ubari, while shipments will be directed to different Libyan seaports depends on the client location.

Abdussalam Ghseis, Financial & istration Manager with 40 years in oil industry financial activity. 3. Mohamed Bachta, Operation Manager with 40 years in oil exploration activity. 4. Ali Dueib, HSE manager, with over 35 years of experience in safety.

Establishment Murzuk Exploration Company (MEC) is a new company in the Libyan market of Geophysical Exploration. It is a branch of Adhan Murzuk Oilfield Group. MEC is based in Libya. The Company is headed by a General Manager reporting to a Board of Directors (Organization Chart). The Company’s Tripoli Offices are the headquarters of the Operations, Finance and ing and Personnel Departments with a Warehouse Section and a Central Workshop. Essuani Road, km 25, P.O. Personnel and equipment At the present time, MEC employs nationals from Libya, United Kingdom, Algeria and others African countries. All our key personal have been exposed to many years in the development of seismic industry, offering a diverse range of ideas and solutions, in which we can provide our customers with a service driven by expertise. At the present time, the company is renting one fully equipped 3D deep desert seismic crew. The Seismic Crew M017-1 is the first one to be launched in the field operations at this time by the Company and its organization follows the standard management. The main offices of the crew are in Tripoli and located at : Essuani Road, 2nd Km, Tripoli M017-1 crew is equipped with 4000 field channels SERCEL 408UL and 1000 field channels SERCEL 428XL telemetric recording systems with corresponding line equipments. The crew is equipped with ten (10) 62000 lb peak force SERCEL NOMAD 65 vibrators. All vibrators are equipped with SERCEL electronics VE-432 Field surveying operations are carried out using Leica 1230 GPS receivers. The crew is equipped with seven rovers and also equipped with the most update processing, mapping and imaging software. Up-hole drilling operations are carried out with two URB 2A-2D mounted on KAMAZ 4313-15 vehicles. Top Drive hydraulic air/water drills, 1000 feet capability. Each drill unit comes with one 6,000 liters 4X4 water trucks. One SmartSeis 24 digital recorder (Geometrix) is used to record and save up-hole data on diskettes. The crew has a QC Office trailer equipped with a version of OMEGA 2D/3D full processing and OMNI QC software for planning and design Our HSE is a standard oilfield model based on the OGP guidelines. The crew has its own HSE department with a fully equipped clinic, trained doctor and a fully equipped 4×4 Ambulance.

The crew is equipped with a large number of light 4×4 vehicles; ten 4×4 cable trucks, four 4×4 personnel carrier trucks and twelve 6×6 trucks and tractors. The trailers of the crew are in a good shape. One 400 KVA twin camp generator trailer with electrical distribution systems. Field to Field and field to Tripoli communications are maintained using V-Sat systems with possibility of e-mail, VOIP, and modern VHF radios. All field vehicles are fitted with new Motorola VHF radios for speaking as well as data transmission between recorder and vibrators. All crew vehicles are fitted with GPS based vehicle tracking systems monitored via satellite by the crew and by Tripoli base.

Technical and Logistic Murzuk Exploration Company operates a well stocked and organized and fully computerized warehouse adequately staffed with competent spare parts personal. MEC cargo and freezer trucks keep the field crew well supplied with spare parts, dry goods, meat and fresh vegetables. Our fuel and water tankers transport for the required amounts of diesel and drinking water to the crew camp sites. In addition to the workshop department on the seismic crew, the Company has a Central Mechanical Workshop in Tripoli which undertakes the rebuilding of engines and major truck refurbishing works.
