My Dream Life Partner.. My dream life partner? A rich and handsome guy. A cool guy. A fascinating guy. That is what others say when they were asked about their dream life partner. But not me! I am sensible enough not to dream of marrying a perfect guy. During my childhood days, I used to dream on marrying a prince but then, that was when I was just an ordinary little girl who wished that a frog can turn into a prince! Loves comes around not when you see a perfect person but it comes when you start to see an imperfect person perfectly.

To say the truth, I will be pleased to have someone who is very patient as my life partner. Man does have his own ego but having someone who is very patient would be an advantage for me. Woman is a very complicated creature. Sometimes we can be very sensitive, sometimes very sensible and sometimes we can even be a very stubborn person. So patient is one of the most important characteristic that my dream life partner should have. The charming part of me is sometimes, I can be a clumsy person so I used to have a feeling that a calm man has something that will catch my eyes. A calm man also means that he is a very sensible person. It was like you buy one, you will get another one for free.

Rich? Does it matter? Well, I am not a materialistic person so money is not everything for me. Sometimes, people say that money is a disaster. Well, I will definitely say yes if you ask me whether money is important or not. But being simple is much better. If only my dream life partner is a rich and an influential person, then it will be a bonus for me but still I am not going to dream on having a rich and influential person as my life partner. As long as he has a stable financial, it is already more than enough for me.

Manners! This is a compulsory characteristic that that my dream life partner should have. Even my friends always questioned me on why I keep saying that manner is the most important part of a person. I came across a quote that I think will give an answer to everyone. “Manners, the final and the perfect flower of a noble character.” Meaning that having a life partner which has a perfect manner will lead you to a happy family. Manners show one’s characters. Based on that, the rigid part of my dream life partner’s characteristic is, I want

someone with a perfect manners. Maybe it sounds like it is impossible, but we can still pray for it. God can make everything happens!

Beneath all this, having a very helpful and understanding life partner is also important. We need someone to help us to ease our burden in doing the household chores. I mean, it is very hard to get everything done with me, the only one who tries to do everything. Despite all these, being responsible and understanding are actually much more important than being helpful. I need someone to guide me for the whole life! So that person must be responsible enough to guide and teach me in order to lead towards a happy family.

The fact that I have to accept is, it will be extremely hard to find someone that has all those characteristics. Realizing the fact, I will accept my life partner the way he is. Physical appearance brings nothing. It’s our heart that can bring us something. Handsome? Good looking? It does not matter. We need to face the reality. There is no such person who is absolutely perfect. I am not going to keep on dreaming of marrying a frog prince. I am sensible enough to face my destiny.
