Pre-filled syringes with sterile water and glycerin solution typically used for the inflation of Foley indwelling catheters. This product is sterile and presented in a sterile packet providing a high level of patient safety and is ready to use for convenience. The pre-filled syringes are supplied with either sterile water or a 10% glycerin solution. A glycerin solution has shown to be beneficial in reducing the amount of water lost from the balloon over a length of time, most noticeably in 100% silicone catheters, due to maintaining an osmotic pressure comparable to urine.
