Past Future Perfect Continuous Tense A. Definition Past Future Perfect Continuous tense is the past tense of the most complex in the composition of tenses. It is because of this tense in describing a position that will be taking place and are still continuing in the past. It is quite difficult to understand unless given an example sentence. But clearly so understanding and I will explain the formula and its functions in more detail below. All the elements included in the present tense except this tenses. Rarely, people using this tense, however, it is possible we will get this sentence either in conversation or writing, and it would not hurt as well if we know it.

B. The formula Past Future Perfect Continuous Tense. There are four characteristics tenses elements needed to make this tense formula. 1. The first is the Past (Verb-2), 2. Future (will + infinitive), 3. Perfect (have + Verb-3) and 4. Continuous (to be + Verb-ing). If the conclusion then, is the second form of the will would, infinitive form of have is have, the third form (verb-3) than to be is that the formula has been essentially becomes: S + would + have + been + Verb-ing.

C. Past Future Perfect Continuous Fuctions. 1. Tense serves to describe a work plan had started to do and still continues in the past. Example: 

She would have been waiting for me for 3 hours at 10 p.m yesterday, but she had gone



at 9 p.m. They would have been working for me for 10 years by the end of last year, but unfortunately, they have ed away 2 years ago.

2. Same with one function of past future perfect, tense can be use to create a conditional sentence type 3 although in practice it is rarely used.

D. Description Tense requires indications of time past and time information also indicates the duration that a work is in progress on a certain time until a certain time. Time information using the duration is for (during) and yesteryear as last + time, yesterday, at that time, and so forth.

E. Example Sentences Past Future Perfect Continuous Tense. 1. She said the she would have been trading Forex for a year last month. 2. If my parent permitted me I would have been traveling around the world last year. 3. She told me that she would have been making line to buy ticket when the last bus came yesterday. 4. I would have been working at that company for 3 years by the end of last year if I didn’t get an accident. 5. If she had not taken my car, I would have been driving my car to Los Angles for a day last week.

Past Future Perfect Continuous Tense Fungsi dan Contoh

A. Pengertian Past Future Perfect Continuous tense adalah tense terakhir yang paling komplek dalam susunan tenses. Hal ini karena tense ini menjelaskan suatu pekerjaan yang akan sedang terjadi dan masih berlanjut di masa lampau. Memang cukup sulit untuk memahaminya kecuali diberikan contoh kalimatnya. Tapi yang jelas begitulah pengertiannya dan akan saya jelaskan rumus beserta fungsinya di bawah nanti. Semua unsur tense kecuali present tercakup dalam tenses ini. Jarang terjadi orang menggunakan tense ini, namun demikian tidak menutup kemungkinan kita akan mendapatkan kalimat ini baik dalam percakapan atau tulisan dan tidak ada salahnya juga jika kita mengetahuinya. B. Rumus Past Future Perfect Continuous Tense. Ada 4 ciri-ciri unsur tenses yang dibutuhkan untuk membuat rumus tense ini. 1. Pertama adalah Past (Verb-2), 2. Future (will + infinitive), 3. Perfect (have + Verb-3) dan 4. Continuous (to be + Verb-ing). Jika disimpulkan maka, bentuk kedua dari will adalah would, bentuk infinitive dari have adalah have, bentuk ketiga (verb-3) dari to be adalah been sehingga rumus dasarnya menjadi: S + would + have + been + Verb-ing. C. Fungsi Past Future Perfect Continuous. 1. Tense ini berfungsi untuk menggambarkan suatu pekerjaan yang rencananya sudah mulai dikerjakan dan masih berlanjut dimasa lalu. Contoh: 

She would have been waiting for me for 3 hours at 10 p.m yesterday, but she had gone at 9 p.m. (Dia renacananya akan telah menungguku selama 3 jam pada pukul 10 kemarin



malam, tapi dia sudah pergi pada pukul 9). They would have been working for me for 10 years by the end of last year, but unfortunately, they have ed away 2 years ago. (Mereka akan telah bekerja dengan saya selama 10 tahun akhir tahun ini, tapi

sayangnya, mereka telah mati 2 tahun yang lalu.) 2. Sama dengan salah satu fungsi past future perfect, tense ini dapat digunakan untuk membuat conditional sentence type 3 meskipun dalam praktiknya sangat jarang digunakan.

D. Keterangan. 

Tense ini membutuhkan keterangan waktu lampau dan juga keterangan waktu yang menunjukkan adanya durasi bahwa suatu pekerjaan sedang berlangsung dari waktu tertentu hingga waktu tertentu. Keterangan waktu yang menggunakan durasi adalah for (selama) dan lampau seperti last + time, yesterday, at that time dan lain sebagainya.

E. Contoh Kalimat Past Future Perfect Continuous Tense. 1. She said the she would have been trading Forex for a year last month. (Dia bilang bahwa dia sudah akan jual beli valas selama 1 tahun pada bulan lalu). 2. If my parent permitted me I would have been traveling around the world last year. (Jika orang tuaku mengizinkan, maka aku akan sudah sedang pergi keliling dunia). 3. She told me that she would have been making line to buy ticket when the last bus came yesterday. (Dia bilang bahwa dia akan sedang mengantri tiket ketika bis terakhir datang kemarin). 4. I would have been working at that company for 3 years by the end of last year if I didn’t get an accident. (Aku akan telah bekerja di perusahaan itu selama 3 tahun pada akhir tahun lalu jika aku tidak mengalami kecelakaan). 5. If she had not taken my car, I would have been driving my car to Los Angles for a day last week. (Jika ia tidak mengambil mobilku, maka aku akan telah sedang mengendarai mobilku ke Los Angles selama sehari minggu lalu).
