PRUlink protection plus is a plan designed to provide you with comprehensive life protection with the flexibility to adjust protection needs as your priorities and financial goals change with every new life stage – education, employment, marriage, parenthood and retirement – yet gives you full control of your investments which potentially help you to reap investment returns. With changing medical needs, you may also require more comprehensive critical illness coverage. PRUlink protection plus also offers you the option of comprehensive critical illness coverage against early stages of cancers through Early Crisis Cover Provider1 and critical illness under Crisis Cover Provider III2. Protection against the unforeseen Offering coverage against Death, Terminal Illness3, Total and Permanent Disability3 and Critical Illness1,2, you can ensure that your loved ones will be looked after, should the unexpected happen. Towards the retirement years of your life, when investment opportunities become a priority, you can redirect your s to investments by reducing your Death, Terminal Illness3, Total and Permanent Disability3 coverage to zero6, while maintaining and continuing the coverage for Critical Illness1,2.

You can add on the Early Crisis Cover Provider1 supplementary benefit which offers coverage for a comprehensive suite of early stage cancers and critical illnesses. Once a successful claim is made - future assurance charges for this supplementary benefit will be waived7. In addition, it is the first policy of its kind to cover selected diabetic complications 8.

The maximum claimable benefit combined under the 50% Severity and 100% Severity cannot exceed 100% of the sum assured. For certain medical conditions, there is a waiting period of 90 days from the date issue or reinstatement, whichever is later. The assurance charges for Early Crisis Cover Provider are not guaranteed. 2 For Crisis Cover Provider III, the sum assured will only be paid in a lump sum to the life assured upon diagnosis of any of the 30 critical illnesses listed in the product summary. The life assured cannot claim for both Terminal Illness and Total and Permanent Disability. 4 Applicable for age 30, male non-smoker and annual amount of $1,200. 5 Subject to underwriting and the life assured must be under age 60. Subject to the minimum or maximum sum assured permitted at the time of change. 6 To exercise the option to reduce your sum assured to zero, the life assured must have reached age 55 or 10 years from the Cover Start Date of the policy or 10 years from the last increase in regular s, whichever is later. 7 Once a successful claim is made under 50% Severity Payout benefit, future assurance charges for the supplementary benefit will be waived.

8 There is a waiting period of 90 days from the Cover Start Date or date of reinstatement, whichever is later. No benefit will be payable for events occurring before or within this waiting period or the survival period of 30 days from the date of diagnosis. For special benefit, we will only pay provided the policy is not terminated or fully claimed. 9 We reserve the right to change the allocation rates of your basic regular for policy year 10 and onwards. 10 We reserve the right to levy an istration charge but will not do so before giving you 30 days’ written notice. 11 For EAO (Lump sum), there is a net sales charge. The non-guaranteed istration charge is currently zero. 12 For EAO (Regular), there is a non-guaranteed istration charge. The non-guaranteed istration charge is currently $50. 13 We reserve the right to change the allocation rates relating to such new s.
