Summary:
Ceyx and Alcyone were happily married couples until Ceyx decided to take a journey across the sea.
Alcyone tried to stop him but failed.
The very night of his journey, a strong storm ruined his boat and killed him.
Alcyone, who was unaware, kept waiting and waiting for him.
When she found out about the death of her husband, she was in misery and wanted to drown herself.
The couple became birds to live happily together.
