Introduction Johnson Controls offers a secondary power (battery backup) solution for devices housed in S300 enclosures, providing continuous, temporary power to critical Cardkey® security controllers and field devices in the event of a power failure. The following batteries and bracket kits are available for purchase: •

S300-DIN-BRK (Bracket Kit for S300-DIN Enclosures

S300-BRK2 (Bracket Kit for S300-XL, S300-XS, and S300-XXS Enclosures)

Features and Benefits •
UPS backup keeps critical systems up and running during a power failure.
•
Batteries are activated by power-fail sense circuitry on Cardkey controllers.
•
One to three hours of battery backup on a fully loaded system, depending on the controller or field device.
•
All batteries are U.L. listed.
•
Long shelf life in ambient temperatures.
•
Batteries can be easily replaced without ordering an additional bracket kit.

S300-BRK2 Bracket Kit
The S300-DIN-BRK bracket kit is used to mount S300BAT batteries to S300-DIN-L enclosures and S300BAT-2.8AH batteries to S300-DIN-S enclosures.
The S300-BRK2 bracket kit is used to mount the S300BAT battery to S300-XL, S300-XS, and S300-XXS enclosures.
