TRAVEL INFORMATION MANUAL MANDATORY CONDITIONS Traveling on duty : The INTERPOL Travel Document shall be used by authorized officials only when carrying out official duties on INTERPOL-related matters. With a valid national port : The INTERPOL Travel Document shall always be presented in conjunction with a national port that is valid for the duration required by the country concerned (e.g. duration of mission or 6 months).
Transit visa : Document holders are required to obtain a transit-visa when transiting in countries which do not accept INTERPOL Travel Documents. No additional privileges or immunities : The INTERPOL Travel Document does not grant to its holders any additional privileges or immunities that might otherwise already be enjoyed.
AND DEFINITIONS Format : The INTERPOL Travel Document exists in two formats: e-port Booklet and eIdentification Card (e-ID Card). Member countries may accept one or both formats of the Document. Visa exemption : Document holders are exempted from needing a visa. Visa upon arrival : Document holders are automatically issued a visa prior to or upon arrival in the country concerned.
Additional specific conditions of use : Holders must comply with any additional conditions attached to the use of the document specified by the member country concerned (e.g. the obligation to provide an official letter of invitation issued by the receiving member country). Pre-arranged visa upon arrival for $100, provided holder submitted visa application to Immigration Office prior to travel, received visa confirmation number, and holding an invitation letter issued by NCB Khartoum.
