★ Friction Stays for side hung window are different from those for top hung windows, and should not be mixed,side hung window friction stays are used in for side hung windows(for example HC400 Series),Top hung window Friction stays are used in for top hung windows(for example FJ600 series) ★ Generally,when Friction Stays are used in side hung window,the length for Friction Stays is not less than 2/3 of width for window,if the weight for window is light,the ratio can be 1/2.When Friction Stays is used in top hung windows,the length for Friction Stays is 1/2 of height for window. ★ F riction stays should be used in pairs.(left and right for each window) ★ Suggested ratio of height to width is 1.5.
