‫بسم اهلل الرمحن الرحيم‬

‫دعاء النصف من شعبان‬ ‫من الكتاب مخ العبادة‬

‫للسيد حممد بن علوي املالكي ‪‬‬

‫اَ للّٰ ُهمَيآَذاَالْم ِّنَوَلَ ُيم ُنَعل ْيك‪َ،‬ياذاَالْجَل ِّلَو ْاَل ِّ كْرام‪َ،‬ياذاَالط ْو ِّلَ‬ ‫انَ‬ ‫ار َال ُْم ْستَ ِّج ْ ِّ‬ ‫ْي ْين َوام ُ‬ ‫و ْاَل ِّ ْنعام‪َ،‬اَل َاِّلّٰه َاِّاَل َ َاَ ْنت َظ ْه ُر َالَل ِّج ْْي َوج ُ‬

‫اب َش ِّق ًّياَ َ‬ ‫َف َا ُ ِّم َا َلْ ِّ َ‬ ‫ِن َ َِّع ْندك ِّ َ‬ ‫ڪت ِّ‬ ‫الْخآ َئِّ ِّف ْْي‪َ ،‬اَ للّٰ ُهم َاِّ ْن َڪَُ ْنت َكَت ْبت ِّ ْ‬ ‫ضلِّكَ‬ ‫ا ْو َم ْح ُر ْو ًّماَا ْو َم ْط ُر ْو ًّداَا ْو َ ُمق ًّ‬ ‫َالر ْز ِّق َفا ْم ُحه‪َ،‬اَ للّٰ ُهم َبِّف ْ‬ ‫ْتاَعلَ َ ِّف ِّ‬ ‫ار َِّر ْز ِِّق‪َ ،‬وَاَ ْث ِّبت ِِّْن َ ِّع ْندك َس ِّع ْي ًّداَ‬ ‫شقاو ِِّت َو ِّح ْرم ِّ‬ ‫اِن َوط ْر ِّدى َواِّقْت ِّ‬

‫ابك َال ُْم ْْن ِّلَ‬ ‫م ْر ُز ْوقًّاَ ُموفقًّاَ َلِّلْخ ْْيات‪َ،‬فاِّ نك َقُل ْت َوق ْولُك َالْح ُق ِّ َ‬ ‫َف َكِّت ِّ‬

‫ت َو ِّع ْندهَ َ َا ُ ُمَ‬ ‫اّلل َما َيشآ ُء َو ُيث ِّْب ُ َ‬ ‫نن َن ِِّ ِّيك َال ُْم ْرس ِّ َ‬ ‫ع ّٰ َ‬ ‫ِ َ(ي ْم ُحو َ ّٰ ُ‬ ‫ل َلِّس ِّ‬ ‫انَ‬ ‫َاَل ْعم ِّم ِّ َ‬ ‫ه َ ِّبا لتج ِِّ ْ َ‬ ‫اب) َاِّل ّٰ ِّ َ‬ ‫ڪت ِّ َ‬ ‫ا َلْ ِّ َ‬ ‫َف َل ْيل ِّة ِّ‬ ‫َالن ْص ِّ‬ ‫ف َ ِّم ْن َش ْه ِّر َش ْعبَ ِّ‬

‫سأَلُكَيَآ ََا ْرحمَ َ‬ ‫تَ ُيفْر ُقَ ِّف ْيهاَك ُ َُِاَ ْم ٍرَحَ َِّك ْي ٍمَو ُي ْْبمَ‪َ،‬نَ ْ َ‬ ‫ال َُْمڪَرمَ‪َ،‬ا ل ِّ َ‬ ‫ْيَ(‪َ)٣۳‬ا ْنَت ْص ِّرفَعناَوع ِّنَال ُْم ْؤ ِّم ِّن ْْيَ ِّمنَالْباَل ِّءَوالْوبا ِّءَوَ َ‬ ‫الرا ِّح ِّم ْ َ‬ ‫َاَل ْعدا ِّءَمان ْعل ُمَوماَلَن َْعل ُمَوماَا ْنت َِّبهَِّا َْعلم‪َ ،‬‬ ‫الْغَل ِّءَوت ْسلِّ ُط ْ‬ ‫اَلڪَْرم‪َ،‬وصِ ّٰ‬ ‫دَ‬ ‫َاّلل َ َع ّٰلَس ِّي ِّدناَ ُمحَم ٍَ‬ ‫َاَلع ُزََ ْ َ‬ ‫اِّ نكَا ْنت ْ‬ ‫َّللَر ِّبَالْعال ِّم ْْي‪َ ،‬‬ ‫لَ َّٰا لِّ ِّهَوص ْح ِّبهَِّوسلم‪َ،‬وَالْح ْم ُد ِّ ّٰ َِّ‬ ‫وع ّٰ َ‬

The Supplication of Mid-Shaʿbān from the book, “The Essence of Worship” [mukh al-ʿibāda] by the late, Sayyid Muḥammad b. ʿAlawi al-Māliki 

In the name of Allāh the Universally Merciful, the Singularly Comionate O Allāh, O You who showers favours on everyone and for whom none can do any favour! O the Possessor of majesty and honour! O the Distributor of bounty and rewards! There is no one worthy of worship except You. You help the fallen, provide refuge to the refugees, and give sanctuary to those who are in fear. O Allāh, if in the Mother of All Books that is with You, You have written me down as someone who is doubtful of achieving salvation, or deprived, or rejected, or without enough sustenance, then with Your Grace, O Allāh, remove all of these misfortunes from me. Then establish me, in the Mother of All Books that is with You, as someone who is blessed, with abundant provision, and charitable good deeds. Indeed, what You revealed in The Book You sent through the tongue of Your blessed Prophet is true: “Allah changes and establishes what He wants and with Him is the Mother of All Books.” (Al-Qur’an, 13:39) O my Lord, for the sake of Your Divine Manifestation on this middle night of the blessed month of Sha’bān “in which every affair of wisdom is made distinct and authorized” (Al-Qur’an, 44:4), we beseech You, O Most Merciful of all (3 x), remove from us all calamities and hardships, those that we know about as well as those that we are not aware of, while You know best everything. Truly, You are the Most Powerful, the Most Generous. Note: Part of the above supplication was reported by Ibn Abi Shayba in his mussannaf and Ibn Abi Dunya from the companion Ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him). Some of it was reported by ‘Abd ibn Humayd and Imam Tabari from ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). Ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) is reported to have said: “No servant (of God) prays with these supplications but that Allah makes expansive his living.” Ṭarîqatu-l ‘Arûsiyyatu-l Qâdiriyyah Worldwide Association (Singapore)
