Print K3-VE COOLING COOLING FAN SYSTEM Cooling Fan Circuit
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION To control the cooling fan, the EC M turns on or off the cooling fan relay based on the engine coolant temperature, air conditioning switch, refrigerant pressure, engine speed and vehicle speed signals.
WIRING DIAGRAM Refer to System Diagram (See page Engine / Hybrid System>K3-VE C OOLING>C OOLING FAN SYSTEM>SYSTEM DIAGRAM).
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT NOTICE: Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following procedure.

Disconnect the ignition or starter switch assembly connector.

Reconnect the ignition or starter switch assembly connector. Result: Proceed to OK NG

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance: Tester Specified Condition Connection Condition A6-1 - Body ground

Reconnect the cooling fan motor connector. Result: Proceed to OK NG

Disconnect the EC M connector.
c.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance (Check for Open): Tester Specified Condition Connection Condition E3-16 (FAN) RAD relay terminal 1
