Aries Sign in 11th house The SUN will be exalted in the eleventh house. It owns the third house and it is in a sign of Mars which is the karaka for younger siblings. Hence they would be instrumental in his income and gains. They may also be close to his elder sibling. The elder sibling of the individual will be influential. The Sun projects debilitated aspect to the filth house. The Sun in the context of the filth house stands for stomach. Its debilitated aspect to the fifth house may cause minor trouble in the stomach. It will cause some unhappiness or trouble with regard to children. The Sun in the eleventh house between 20° and 30° will project aspect to the span of the fifth house that represents children. It is the owner of the eleventh house from the fifth and its aspect to the span of Vishakha will be conducive to gains to the children. The Sun will give some success and gains to the children according to Jyotish Makarand. The Sun will be beneficial to the spouse of the individual as it will function as an agent of good fortune to her and will project aspect to the eleventh house from the seventh to a span of Jupiter. The Sun owns the fifth house from the eleventh. Its aspect to the seventh house from the eleventh to a sign of Venus shows that the elder sibling will get married through a romantic affiliation. The Sun relates the third house of right ear to that of the left. It may represent the faculty of hearing of the individual when it is in with Jupiter which is the karaka for this faculty. The Sun under heavy affliction by naturally malefic planets may cause deficiency in this regard. The Sun in with the Moon will relate the second to the eleventh and will be capable of giving much wealth when it is in with Jupiter too. Writing or felicity with spoken word would help him gain when the Sun is in with Mercury. The Sun in with Mercury will also represent the physical self of the individual as Mercury owns the ascendant. Hence the individual will gain or succeed on his own. This with Mercury also promises good success at academics. Saturn is the owner of the sixth house from the third. Hence it represents trouble or disease for the younger siblings. We have seen that the Sun represents them in the eleventh house in Aries. Hence its with Saturn will cause trouble, whether physical or otherwise, to the younger siblings The MOON in Aries indicates that the elder sibling will be traveling much. The Moon is the owner of the second house. This is the house of wealth. It occupies the house of income. The Moon will represent wealth and its gain through its occupation of the eleventh house but it must be related to the karaka for these, i.e., Jupiter. The Moon in Bharani will represent the emotions of the individual,

his sleep, and his sub-conscious mind as Venus owns the fifth house of emotions and the Moon is the karaka for them; and, the twelfth house of sleep and subconscious mind is owned by Venus and the Moon is the karaka for these. The individual may be able to gain through emoting and his gains may be related to sleep and sub-conscious mind as in the case of a psychologist. The individual will be good looking. This will be so as the second house represents the face of the individual of which the Moon is the karaka and Venus is a karaka for good looks. The Moon in Krittika will represent short journeys that the individual will undertake as the third house of short journeys is owned by the Sun and the Moon is the karaka for such journeys. He may undertake such journeys in the course of his efforts to earn his income and these journeys will be beneficial for him. The Moon is a naturally beneficial planet, unless it is waning when it may lose much of its benevolence. A naturally beneficial planet in the eleventh house will be inclined to promote the affairs of the house. Jyotish Makarand states that the individual will be prosperous and comfortable. Waning Moon may not give good results. The Moon in with Mercury will represent the home, mind and mother of the individual. Mercury is an intellectual planet. Its influence on the mind will make the individual intellectually inclined. The Moon in with Jupiter will be an agent to give success and gains. It will also represent elder sibling of the individual as the house represents the elder sibling of the individual and Jupiter is the karaka for him. As the Moon is a female planet it is possible it will represent elder sister of the individual. She may be active, energetic, and authoritative. The Moon in with Saturn may give rise to trouble to the family of the individual. MARS will be placed in its own sign in the eleventh house. Jyotish Makarand states that the individual will be prosperous but he will have numerous enemies. It is also the owner of the sixth house of injury for which it is the karaka. Hence when Mars is in with Jupiter it may cause injury to elder sibling though being in the eleventh house it will also give gain of wealth, in the form, may be, of property. Mars in with Saturn will be a source of delays and trouble. It will represent longevity of the mother. It owns the tenth house from the ninth. It stands for the profession of the father of the individual when it is in with Saturn. As the house receives the aspect of its owner, it indicates that the father may have a good and successful career in a uniformed service. Mars is placed in the third house from the ninth and it is a karaka for younger siblings. Hence Mars represents younger siblings of the father of the individual. Mars is a naturally malefic planet and any influence on it of another planet of this nature would incline it to be troublesome. It projects debilitated aspect to the second

house of family and wealth. It may cause trouble and dissension in the family and injury to the face. There may be litigation over wealth when Mars occupies Aries between 0° and 3°20’. It will then project aspect to the span of Punarvasu in the second house which would represent wealth. Mars in Aries between 16°40’ and 30° will cause trouble and disputes through the way the individual will talk. This would be so as the aspect of Mars will fall on the span of Aslesa in the second house that represents speech. Mars, we have seen, is an agent of dispute and dissension on of its ownership of the sixth house. Mars in Aries between 20° and 30° will disturb relations of the individual with his children as its aspect will fall on the span of Vishakha in the fifth house representing children. MERCURY will be in a neutral sign in the eleventh house. Saravali states that the individual will be uncompromising and stubborn. It owns the fourth house and when it occupies a sign of Mars it will represent property. Hence Mercury in with Jupiter will be inclined to give property. Jupiter owns the seventh house. When it gets related to Mercury in the eleventh house it will give gains through business. Mercury owning the fourth house shows education. It will give success in academics when it is in with Jupiter. Mercury owns the ascendant. In such it will be an indicator of general success of the individual. The individual may be the eldest sibling. Children may be born to the individual or he may have happiness from them when Mercury occupies Aries between 20° and 30° as Mercury will project aspect to the span of Vishakha in the fifth house that represents children. Mercury is the owner of the ascendant. Mercury in with Venus or in Bharani will produce a handsome person. Mercury in Krittika or in with the Sun will indicate that the income of the individual may be related to the heart. He may be a cardiologist. JUPITER will be in a friendly sign. It is the karaka for elder sibling, success, gain, income etc. that relate to the eleventh house. Hence Jupiter will represent these. It is the owner of the seventh house in the chart. Jupiter in with Mercury will give success in and gain from business. Jupiter in with Venus or Jupiter in Bharani will give success in and gain from sex, women, or from marriage. Jupiter in with the Moon shows that the stay abroad will give the individual success and gain. The Moon owns the second house hence this will give substantial wealth. Jupiter in Krittika or in with the Sun shows that the individual will gain from and will be successful in government. It also shows success and gains through father. Jupiter in with Saturn shows a successful professional career. Saturn owns the ninth house.

Its with Jupiter will produce good fortune. Hence this will be a very favourable . Jatakabharnam states that the individual will have much wealth and happiness from wife and children in the period of Jupiter. Jupiter in with Rahu shows success and gain through unknown persons. Jupiter projects aspect to the fifth house and being a karaka for children and creativity it will represent them. Jupiter in Aries between 6°40’ and 20° shows gain from and success at diplomatic assignments. The aspect of Jupiter will fall on the span of Swati. This span in the filth house represents diplomacy. VENUS will be in a neutral sign. It projects aspect to the fifth house where its own mooltrikona sign Libra is placed. Hence Venus will strengthen the fifth house and its significations will flourish. The significations are romance, entertainment, creativity, learning, game of chance, devotion, children, etc. Venus represents romance, entertainment, devotion, etc. Hence these will bring success and gains to the individual. Venus in with Jupiter will indicate spouse. It will also represent children, creativity, success, and gains. The individual may gain wealth and children may be born to him in the period of Venus. With such a Venus will represent elder sister of the individual. This period could be dangerous to the longevity of the spouse of the elder sister: Abdur Rahim Khankhana in Khet Kautukam states that the individual will be prominent in his society; he will be well behaved; and, wealthy. Venus is a naturally beneficial planet. Hence its presence in the eleventh house will promote the significations of the house. Venus in with Saturn could be bad for the welfare of the paramour. The individual could face setback in romance. Venus is the owner of the twelfth house. Hence it will work as an agent to cause loss and separation. Venus in with Rahu will work as a factor to cause restraint on the liberty of the individual. This will be so as Venus owns the twelfth house and Rahu is the karaka for it. SATURN will be debilitated in the eleventh house. It is the karaka for longevity and profession. Both these aspects of life may face setbacks. It is placed in the eighth house from the fourth. It is therefore the significator of longevity for the mother of the individual too. She is unlikely to be long lived. It is placed in the sixth house from the sixth. Hence it may indicate illness to the maternal uncle and enemies of the individual. It is in the third house with a sign of Mars from the ninth. Hence it will be placed in the house of younger siblings of the father of the individual. They will lead a difficult life and may have to work very hard to earn their livelihoods. Saturn in with Jupiter will signify sudden and unexpected gains to the individual. He may win a small amount at a lottery. It

will represent good fortune to the individual, as it also owns the ninth house. The individual may not be fortunate. Jatakabharnam states that the individual will suffer from skin trouble in the period of Satum. Saturn will project aspect to the ascendant. A sign of Mercury is placed in the ascendant. The ascendant represents the whole of the body and Mercury represents the skin. The individual may have trouble in his legs. Saturn owns the ninth house. It projects exalted aspect to the fifth house. When the aspect of Saturn falls on the span of Vishakha in the fifth house it will represent religion. Saturn placed in Aries between 20° and 30° will make the individual religious. This may be mixed for the welfare of the children of the individual. Saturn owns the eighth house and represents unhappiness and trouble. The aspect of Saturn will be cast on the span of Vishakha. This constellation in the fifth house represents children. At the same time Saturn owns the ninth house and in the context of Vishakha it will represent good fortune. RAHU will be in an inimical sign in the eleventh house. It is a naturally malefic planet. Hence the income of the individual may come from unfair means. Rahu in Bharani may work to put restraint on the liberty of the individual. The income of the individual may come through a diplomatic assignment. Chamatkar Chintamani states that the individual will earn through foreigners. Rahu in with Jupiter may give income to the individual through unknown persons. It may cause journeys abroad to the elder sibling. He may also be put under restraint at some time in his life. The elder sibling may get a job in the period of Rahu when it is in with Saturn. Rahu in this position is not good for the longevity of the mother of the individual. Jatakabharnam states that the individual will be able to destroy his enemies. KETU will be in a friendly sign. It is a naturally malefic planet. It is therefore unlikely to give income through fair means. Chamatkar Chintamani has praised the position of Ketu in this house. According to it the individual will gain in every manner. Vaidyanathtoo s this statement. Ketu in Bharani will produce spiritual leanings. It will produce a highly religious elder sibling when it is in with Jupiter. Taurus Sign in 11th house The SUN will be in an inimical sign in the eleventh house. It owns the second house of wealth. When the Sun is in with Jupiter it will indicate a relationship between the house of wealth and house of income. This shows good

prosperity but here the Sun is not in a compatible sign hence the quantum of wealth will remain limited. Phaldeepika says that the individual will be wealthy and prosperous. Jyotish Makarand states that the period of the Sun will be good. The Sun indicates the eye of the individual. Hence the income of the individual may relate to his eye. He could be an ophthalmologist, optometrist, etc. The Sun represents the government, eye, heart, stomach, fire, father, etc. As it is in an inimical sign, the individual may not be able to gain much through these fields. The Sun projects aspect to the fifth house. This is a friendly aspect. When the Sun is placed in Taurus between 0° and 3°20' it will project aspect to the span of Vishakha in the fifth house. This span represents children. Hence there will be birth of children in the period of the Sun. The Sun in Rohini or in with the Moon will represent the person of the individual and it shows that either he will be the eldest sibling or he would have much to do with his elder sibling. The Sun in this constellation in the sign between 10° and 13°20’ will give a good status to the individual. The Sun in Mrigshira or in with Mars will represent government or status. The elder sibling of the individual may be related to the government or he may be of good status. The Sun in Mrigshira also shows that it represents the stomad1 of the individual. If a naturally malefic planet influences the Sun the stomach of the individual may have trouble. The Sun in with Mercury will indicate speech of the individual. He may gain to some extent through it. The Sun in with Saturn may give the elder sibling a job with the government. The Sun in with Rahu may cause physical trouble to the elder sibling. The MOON will be exalted in the eleventh house. Jyofish Makarand states that the individual will be wealthy and well behaved. When it is in Krittika or in with the Sun it will indicate the individual and it will show that he will be a successful person. He may be the eldest sibling or he may be close to his elder sibling. The Moon in this constellation in the sign between 6°40’ and 10° will yield good prosperity to the individual. The elder sibling will be a well behaved and good person. The individual will earn through fair means. The Moon in Mrigshil'a between 26°40’ and 30° in the sign will ensure close cooperation between the individual and his younger siblings and success in his ventures. The aspect of the Moon on the span of Vishakha in the fifth house will ensure birth of d1ildren to the individual in the period of the Moon. There could be some delay or difficulty in birth of children as the aspect of the Moon will be a debilitated one. MARS will be in a neutral sign in the eleventh house. It owns the fifth house of

entertainment, romance, and fine arts. In a sign of Venus and in the context of the significations of Venus Mars will represent these elements. Varah Mihir in Brihajiatakam says that the individual will be under influence of women. Hora Ratnam says that the individual will be happy in the period of Mars. The individual may successfully pursue vocations relating to these fields. Mars in Krittika will represent high status. The elder sibling of the individual may hold a high position. Mars in Rohini may indicate the ability to emote. This will be so as Mars owns the fifth house of emotions and the Moon is the karaka for it. Mars projects aspect to the fifth house where its own Scorpio is placed. Hence the fifth house will flourish. The span of Vishakha in the fifth house will represent children. The aspect of Mars will give them good constitution and satisfactory longevity. They may take up surgery, uniformed service, etc as their profession. The individual may have a logical way of talking when Mars occupies Taurus between 16°40’ and 30°. MERCURY will be in a friendly sign in the eleventh house. Writing, oratory, music, information technology, etc. could be the sources of his income. Mercury owns the third house of writing and communication. As Mercury is well placed in a friendly sign, the individual will do well at these activities and gain through them. Garga says that the individual will be fond of women. Mercury in Krittika will represent speech. He will be an able and pleasant speaker and would gain through his speech. Mercury will represent short journeys when it occupies Rohini. These journeys will be beneficial for the individual. Mercury in this constellation will also represent the sleep of the individual which will be pleasant and refreshing. Mercury in Mrigshira will represent the younger siblings of the individual who will do well in life. The aspect of Mercury on the fifth house will be neutral. The level of his learning will be average. Mercury in the context of the fifth house will represent intelligence which should be good as Mercury is well placed in the dart. Mercury in Taurus between 0° and 3°20’ will give the individual more than one child. Mercury in with Jupiter will indicate a successful maternal uncle. In the context of the eleventh house Mercury with this will work as a planet promoting success and gains of the individual through good fortune. JUPITER will be in an inimical sign. It is the karaka for success, gains, and elder sibling. Hence it will signify these in the context of the eleventh house. These will not show good results on of Jupiter being in an inimical sign. Jupiter in Krittika will give wealth since it owns the ninth house and therefore stands for good fortune; it in the context of the second house it represents

accumulated wealth; and, it is showing income as we have seen above. Jupiter owns the sixth house of competition. Jupiter in this constellation will represent the father of the individual too as it owns the ninth house and the Sun is the karaka for father. The individual may not gain through his father when Jupiter has influence of a naturally malefic planet. Sarvarth Chintamani states that the period of Jupiter may see trouble to the spouse and younger siblings. Jupiter in Mrigshira will indicate competitors. This location of Jupiter shows that the individual will not be successful in competitions when Jupiter has adverse influence of a naturally malefic planet. Jupiter is in the ninth house from the third. It therefore shows good fortune for the younger siblings. Its location in an incompatible sign shows mediocre luck but its aspect to the third house will still indicate that the younger siblings will be successful and they will be religious. These results will be prominent when Jupiter occupies Taurus between 23°20’ and 30°. In this case Jupiter will project aspect to the span of Chitra in the third house. This is a constellation owned by Mars. Therefore it will represent younger siblings in the context of the third house. Jupiter will project friendly aspect to the fifth house. It is a karaka for children. In the context of the house it will represent children of the individual. He will have children born to him in the period of Jupiter: The aspect of Jupiter on the seventh house will be debilitated. Hence its benevolence will remain under check with respect to the affairs of the seventh house. VENUS will be in its own sign. The individual is likely to have more elder sisters than brothers. Garga says that the individual will have women and wealth. Sarvarlh Chintamani states that the individual will help others and will be prominent. It owns the fourth house and therefore represents vehicles. The individual is likely to acquire or gain through vehicles. Venus in with Mercury will be good for the education of the individual. He will do well at his studies. Venus in with Jupiter will give a happy disposition to the individual. Venus in with Mars will give much property to the individual and these acquisitions will be elegant. Venus in with Saturn will represent danger to the longevity of the mother of the individual since it owns the ascendant for the mother and it will be in the eighth house from the fourth in with the karaka for death. Venus will project aspect to the fifth house. This is an indifferent aspect. Venus will therefore represent fine arts, entertainment, games of chance, romance etc. These will help the individual gain. Venus in Krittika will make the individual good looking. The individual may get married in the period of Venus in this constellation between 0° and 3°20’ in the sign. The same result will be seen when Venus is in Rohini. Venus in

Mrigshira will give rise to a romance. SATURN will be in a friendly sign in the eleventh house. In with Jupiter it may cause serious illness and death to the elder sibling. Saturn will be favourable to the individual for a law career when it is in with Jupiter: It will represent the spouse of the individual as it owns the seventh house and it occupies a sign of Venus. The individual may get married in the period of Saturn. Marriage will be beneficial to the individual. The earnings of the individual will come through unfair sources. Varah Mihir in Brihajiatakam states that the individual may have many wives. He may get good returns from agriculture. The individual will be unreliable when Saturn is in with Rahu. It may be dangerous for the children of the individual when it occupies Taurus between 0° and 3°20’. Saturn will project aspect to its own sign in the eighth house and will promote the longevity of the individual. RAHU will give income through sources that could be nefarious. The income may also come through foreign sources. Rahu is exalted in this sign. Hence Jatakabharnam states that the individual will gain substantially, he will be very comfortable, he will be respected by the government, and all his wishes will be fulfilled. He will take recourse to frauds and deception to ensure gains and success when Rahu is in with Jupiter. Rahu in with Saturn will build bad reputation for the individual for his grabbing attitude. He will employ little known persons to succeed in his attempts. KETU will be in an inimical sign. It is debilitated in the sign. Being a naturally malefic planet its presence in the eleventh house only goes to show that the individual will not be fair in his dealing and attempts at improving his income. Still the effect of Ketu in the eleventh house will be favourable with respect to gain of wealth and success. Jatakabharnam states that the individual will be unhappy over his children and he may suffer from trouble in his colon and rectum. Gemini Sign in 11th house The SUN will be in a neutral sign. Jyotish Makarand states that the individual will be prosperous and religious. It is the owner of the ascendant and will represent the physical body of the individual. He will be the eldest sibling or he may be close to his elder sibling. He should be successful in life. The Sun in Mrigshira will represent the father of the individual. He will help him get

success and gains. The Sun placed in the sign Gemini between 0° and 3°20’ will develop much physical proximity between all the siblings. The Sun in this constellation also represents the heart of the individual. His source of income could be the heart. The Sun in Ardra between 6°40’ and 10° in the sign will incline the individual to adopt unfair means to gain success. Children will be born to him in the period of the Sun when it is in Punarvasu or he may have happiness from them during this period. The Sun in this constellation will represent the stomach of the individual and when the Sun has influence of a naturally malefic planet the individual is likely to face trouble in his stomach. The individual will be devotional in nature when the Sun occupies the sign Gemini between 0° and 13°20'. He may be inclined to romance when it occupies the sign between 13°20’ and 26°40'. The Sun in with the Moon will represent a temple. He may gain through such a religious establishment. The Sun in with Venus will help the individual gain through the government. His status too will improve. The Sun in with Saturn will give fiery speech and the individual may have a touch of arrogance. The MOON in Gemini will relate the eleventh house with the twelfth. The individual may gain through new places. Jyotish Makarand states that the individual will donate his wealth to a temple or hospital. The elder sister of the individual may go and live at an unknown place. The Moon will represent the mother of the individual when it occupies Mrigshira. She may be intellectually inclined and may be a pleasant speaker. She may live with the elder sibling of the individual. The Moon will also represent property. The individual will dispose of and acquire property during the period of the Moon. The Moon in Ardra will represent the factor for restraint on the liberty of the individual. When the Moon relates to the Sun the individual will have to face loss of liberty. The individual will gain through his children when the Moon occupies Punarvasu. He may travel much when the Moon is in with Venus. These journeys will take him to new places and they would be interesting. There would be reduction in income and difficulties in the affairs of the individual when the Moon is in with Saturn. MARS will be placed in an inimical sign in the eleventh house. Both Varah Mihir in Brihajiatakam and Jyotish Makarand state that he will be philanthropic; and, he will do good to others. Mars is a naturally malefic planet. It will cause gains to accrue through unfair means. Mars will project inimical aspect to the second house. A sign of Mercury is placed there. Hence the second house will be prominently representative of speech. Mars is an aggressive planet and it will

impart its aggression to the speech of the individual. Mars owns the ninth house. In Ardra constellation it will represent journeys abroad. The individual will travel abroad and but he may not gain substantially through it. Mars in with Jupiter or in Punarvasu constellation will stand for good fortune. The individual will stand to gain in life on of being lucky. He will be happy and carefree. Mars in Punarvasu or in with Jupiter will be favourable for wealth as it will occupy the eleventh house and will project aspect to the second. Since Mars occupies an incompatible sign and its aspect will also be to a similar sign, the quantum of wealth would be restricted. Mars will project a friendly aspect to the fifth house that represents children of the individual. He will be fortunate with regard to his children. Mars will project an exalted aspect to the sixth house. It is the karaka for contests, litigation, and competitions. He will be successful at these. He will be able to put his enemies down. MERCURY will be placed in its own sign making the house strong. Grih Phala Darpan states that this is a very good position for Mercury; he will lead a happy and comfortable life; he will be very wealthy; and, he will be Ieamed. Mercury in the sign between 10° and 13°20’ will involve the maternal uncle of the individual in his enterprise and he will help him achieve success. Mercury in Ardra between 13°20’ and 16°40’ in the sign will induce the individual to start a business venture late in life with a little known person, and this venture will be highly successful. Mercury in Mrigshira will give successful education in an engineering discipline. The individual may have several younger siblings. Mercury in Punarvasu or in with Jupiter will be instrumental in giving much wealth to the individual. Mercury projects aspect to the fifth house where a sign of Jupiter is placed. The individual will be very learned. Mercury in Gemini between 13°20’ and 26°40’ will give more than one romantic affiliation. He will achieve success in writing when Mercury is in with Venus. He may do business successfully when Mercury is in with Saturn. JUPITER will be in an inimical sign. It will however stand to give success and good income to the individual but the quantum of both may not be much. Varah Mihir in Brihajjatakam states that the individual will have many friends. He will be a person of high morals and would shun means that are suspect. Jupiter in Mrigshira will be highly beneficial as it would be the significator for both good fortune and success. He will earn huge wealth as stated by Grih Phala Darpan. He will be a successful diplomat when it occupies Ardra. Jupiter in Gemini between 0° and 6°40’ will give prosperous younger siblings. It will project aspect to its own sign in the fifth house. It will therefore signify children of the

individual. They too will be fortunate and will do well in life. The aspect of Jupiter on the seventh house when it occupies Gemini between 6°40’ and 20° shows that unknown person will go out of their way to help the individual. The Sun in with Jupiter or in Punarvasu will represent the heart of the individual. The Sun in with Saturn or in Pusya will be responsible for contraction, loss, and expenditure. The Sun will reduce the income of the individual. The Sun in

with Mercury or in Aslesa will represent the self of the individual. He will be on good with his elder sibling. He is also likely to work for the government or he may hold an important position. The Sun in with Venus will represent the father of the individual and it should be deduced that the father will be behind the income and success of the individual. The Sun in with Rahu may put restraint on the liberty of the elder sibling of the individual. The MOON will be in its own sign in the eleventh house. Being the owner of the eighth house with this it will represent the longevity of the individual. Weak Mars will indicate weak longevity. This is what Jyotish Makarand states when it speaks of early death of the individual, may be even in his infancy. Saturn owns the sixth house. Mars in with Saturn will be an agent to cause both disease and injury. Mars in with Mercury or placed in Aslesa may create some physical trouble to the individual.

MERCURY is inimical to the Moon. Hence Mercury will be partially disabled to give good results. The individual will lead a very happy existence. He should have a very successful and happy marriage or partnership. His partnership will be productive of excellent returns. The elder sibling of the individual will be very fortunate. The younger siblings will be highly prosperous. The eldest child of the individual may leave the place of his birth and go elsewhere in search of better prospects. The third house has a sign of Mars. It will therefore show the younger siblings. Jupiter projects friendly aspect to the house. The younger siblings will do well in life. It will earn the individual much through writing and printing when Jupiter occupies Cancer between 16°40’ and 30°. This will be so because Jupiter will project aspect to the span of Jyeshtha in the third house. This span represents writing and in a sign of Mars this span will indicate press. The first ten degrees of Capricorn in the fifth house represent stomach. The aspect of Jupiter on the stomach will improve the digestive capacity. VENUS will be in an inimical sign. It is a naturally beneficial planet hence the gains of the individual will tend to come from legitimate sources. Venus owns the ninth house. It will represent father when it is in with the Sun. The gains of the individual and his success may be ascribed to the efforts of his father. Venus in with Jupiter or in Punarvasu will represent spouse and vehicles. These would appear important in the scheme of things for success and

gains. Since Venus also owns the second house, its with Jupiter will be productive of much wealth. Law would be a prominent factor in his success and gains when Venus is in with Saturn or occupies Pusya. Venus in with the owner of the sixth house will represent kidneys of the individual. When in an inimical sign it comes under the influence of a naturally malefic planet the individual may face trouble in his kidneys. Venus in Aslesa will stand for speech as Mercury is the karaka for it and the second house represents speech. It will play an important part in the success and gains of the individual. Further, both the second and ninth houses are owned by Venus. Hence Venus in this constellation becomes a strong indicator of the fact that the individual may have ability to forecast. The involvement of the eighth house and Ketu would also be needed for this purpose. Venus in with Rahu will represent gains from and success abroad. His income may be meager: His elder sibling may not keep good health. Saturn projects aspect to its own fifth house. Hence the children of the individual will do well in life at a later stage. Saturn placed in Cancer between 0° and 10° will cause ill health to the individual. Saturn could be a dangerous planet for the individual as it projects aspect to the eighth house of death and longevity of which it is the karaka. Hence Saturn is capable of causing death. Its aspect to the eighth house is debilitated one. Saturn is in an inimical sign and its aspect to the eighth house is debilitated. This is not a good indication for the longevity of the individual. RAHU in the eleventh house in an inimical sign may not be good for the elder sibling. It will also incline the individual to adopt unscrupulous means for his success and gain. Rahu in Punarvasu or in with Jupiter will cause participation of unknown persons in the effort of the individual to secure good gains and success. Means will not be of primary consideration to him, as he

would be determined to gain as much as possible. This situation would be aggravated further when Rahu is in Pusya. He may be prepared to cheat others for his own advancement. KETU will be in a friendly sign in the eleventh house. It is a naturally malefic planet and will therefore make the individual not much concerned over the means that he adopts to gain success. However Ketu will not cause the kind of urge to gain that Rahu would produce in the eleventh house. Ketu alone in the eleventh house will give results determined by the Moon. The individual may be more content and easy going. Its effect would improve further when it occupies Punarvasu. He may take to appeasing minor deities for success when Ketu occupies Pusya. It is possible that he takes up black magic and related knowledge to earn a living. Leo Sign in 11th house The SUN will be in its sign and the house would therefore be strong. The individual will have a good constitution and he will be healthy. Jatakabharnam states that the individual will have respect and benefits from the government. This will be so as Rahu is the karaka for diplomacy and the fifth house stands for it. The Sun in Poorva Phalguni will represent the self of the individual. The Sun in this constellation between 16°40' and 20° in the sign will give income from a place of worship. A child may be born to the individual when the Sun is in the sign Leo between 20° and 30°. This will be so since the Sun will project aspect to the span of Poorva Bhadrapada in the fifth house. This span represents children. The MOON will give benefits from the government and good status as it owns the tenth house and occupies a sign of the Sun in the eleventh house. Saravali states that the individual will be fond of meat dishes. The individual will be dignified and will have an exalted mind. Unless the Moon is waning the individual will try to keep himself within the bounds of fairness and his success and income will be through means that would be totally above board. There may be participation in the affairs of the individual of a high minded female. The Moon is a planet that governs talent to perform in plays and dramas. The fifth house too is one that is related to these. Therefore the aspect of the Moon on the fifth house will show that the individual may earn through this talent. The Moon

in with Saturn will bring about a change in place for the individual in the period of the Moon. Jyotish Makarand states that such a person is born in a highly placed and wealthy family. The Moon in Magha indicates that the individual may earn through his psychic powers. The Moon in Poorva Phalguni may give success at a lottery. The individual may be handsome. This position of the Moon may not be good for the health of the children of the individual. The Moon in with Saturn may not be good for the longevity of the mother of the individual MARS will be in a friendly sign in the eleventh house. It is a fiery planet and occupies a similar sign. Hence the matters that would help the individual earn may have an element of fire. Fire, electricity, machines that operate with electricity, fire fighting department, forest fires, weapons, boilers, blacksmithing, etc come within the purview of Mars in Leo. Mars in with Jupiter will give wealth, as it will project aspect to the second house. However, the elder sibling of the individual may get injured when is in with Jupiter for Jupiter owns the sixth house and Mars is the karaka for injury. The younger siblings of the individual will participate in his efforts for wealth and success and they will benefit in the process. Mars in Poorva Phalguni will represent the spouse of the individual. Jyotish Makarand states that the individual will have good looking wife. He may face some trouble relating to his children. The eldest child may hold a high position and he may be wealthy. MERCURY will be in a friendly sign in the eleventh house. It owns the ninth house and it occupies a sign of the Sun. Hence Mercury will show the father of the individual and placed in the eleventh house it indicates that the individual will gain and succeed with the help of his father. Mercury owns the twelfth house that, inter alia, shows a place of worship. The Sun is the karaka for it. Hence Mercury shows a place of worship and placed in the eleventh house it shows that the individual will be successful in setting up a place of worship, and if Jupiter is also involved, that he will earn through it. He may successfully write on occult and spiritual matters when Mercury is placed in Magha. The individual may write on little known facts when Mercury is in Poorva Phalguni. The individual will have many children when Mercury is placed in Leo between 20° and 30° as Mercury will project aspect to the span of Poorva Bhadrapada in the fifth house representing children. Mercury is a planet that increases the number. Hence the influence of Mercury on this span will tend to increase the number of children of the individual. Ramyatna ta in Phalit Wkas states that the individual will have several children and he will be wealthy.

JUPITER in Leo according to Varah Mihirin Brihajjatakam gives as good results as when it is exalted. We have discussed Jupiter in Cancer in the eleventh house above. Only general results of the analysis will apply to Jupiter in Leo since the constellations in the two signs and navamshas differ: Jupiter represents wealth, finance, income, children, learning, religion, higher education, management, etc. The income of the individual may relate to some of these areas. Jupiter in Leo here owns the sixth house and occupies a sign of the Sun. It will represent fire and the sources of income of the individual may have some relationship to fire and electricity. Jupiter projects aspect to the fifth house and stands for children and creativity. Children may be born to the individual in the period of Jupiter. He may be assisted and helped by his children in his efforts to earn his income. Jupiter projects aspect to the third house where its mooltn'kona sign is placed. The house will be strengthened. The affairs of the younger siblings of the individual will be promoted. Jupiter in Leo between 6°40’ and 20° will project aspect to the span of Satabhisaka in the fifth house. The fifth house in the context of Rahu shows diplomacy. There is a possibility of the individual drawing his income through diplomacy. Jupiter projects friendly aspect to the seventh house. The span of Bharani in the seventh house represents sex and spouse. Jupiter in Leo between 13°20' and 26°40’ will project aspect to this span. Children may be born to the individual in the period of Venus. Venus in with Jupiter will represent the kidneys, as Jupiter owns the sixth house and Venus is the karaka for kidneys. If there is influence of a naturally malefic planet on Venus the individual may face some trouble in his kidneys. Venus in with Saturn may cause

marriage of the elder sibling. In such a case Venus will be, as seen above, a planet signifying the self of the individual, and his death. It may therefore prove dangerous for the individual. SATURN will be in an inimical sign. Horasara states that the individual may fall sick frequently, and he may develop misunderstanding with his wife and children in the period of Saturn. The individual may gain through agriculture, mining, archaeology, geology, etc but the returns may not be substantial. Saturn projects aspect to its own fifth house and will therefore its affairs. Saturn in Poorva Phalguni may represent romance, entertainment, fine arts, game of chance, etc. Saturn in with Jupiter may give good returns from these. The individual may face difficulties in his romance but, as the fifth house is strong, it may ultimately succeed. Saturn in Leo between 6°40’ and 20° will cause journeys abroad for the children of the individual. This is so as Saturn will project exalted aspect to the ascendant on the span of Swati. Saturn is the owner of the fifth house. It is in a sign of the Sun. It will therefore represent the self of the eldest child of the individual. The ascendant is the ninth house from the fifth and Rahu is the karaka for journeys abroad. Saturn in Leo between 20° and 30° will project aspect to the span of Vishakha in the ascendant. It is the eleventh house from the third and this span therefore will indicate success, gains, income, etc for the younger siblings. Saturn owns the second house from the third, it occupies the ninth house from the third, and it projects exalted aspect to the eleventh house from the third. It will give much wealth to the younger siblings RAHU like Saturn will be in an inimical sign in the eleventh house. It will therefore endeavour to give income to the individual through dishonest means. He may take to cheating when Rahu gets in with Jupiter. Yet, the income will not be meager. The individual may have an urge to power which may not be satisfied. Rahu in Poorva Phalguni may incline the individual to sexual promiscuity. Rahu represents nuclear science, nonconventional medicine, foreign affairs, espionage, secret service, drugs, intoxicants, anesthesia, reptiles, radiation, etc. The individual may earn through these areas of life. Rahu in Poorva Phalguni would incline the individual to seek avenues of income though secret service, drugs, espionage, intoxicants etc. Rahu in Uttar Phalguni may place the source of income in foreign affairs. KETU represents Spiritualist, monk, mystic, psychic, etc. Being in a friendly sign it would be inclined to give success in these fields. The individual may earn through his psychic powers when Ketu occupies Poorva Phalguni. Ketu in the

sign between 6°40’ and 10° may produce a Spiritualist; between 16°40’ and 20° the income may accrue through a retreat or monastery. The individual will be indifferent to gains or success and would on the other hand be involved in relief and rehabilitation work in a group.

In with Venus the Sun will give gains through a temple of the Goddess. The Sun in with Saturn in Chitra constellation of Mars may cause heart trouble. He will have much urge to become wealthy and powerful when the Sun is in with Rahu. The results given by the Sun will be still better when it occupies Hasta. The Moon owns the ninth house and alongwith the Sun it should also indicate the father of the individual. Therefore the Sun in this constellation may also indicate the individual gaining through his father. The Sun in Chitra would make the individual the eldest among siblings. Mars owns the sixth house and indicates disputes and injuries. The Sun could give rise to disputes at work place and it also shows that the elder sibling of the individual may undergo surgery or suffer injury. The individual succeeds against his rivals and competitors. Jyotish Makarand states that the individual gains through his enemies. It also says that the individual could be a great lawyer. The MOON is the owner of the ninth house and it occupies the house of gain and success. It indicates the possibility of gain and success without much effort as

the individual will be generally lucky Garga states that the individual will be popular. As has already been stated for the Sun the presence of the Moon in the eleventh house may also indicate success and gain through the help of the father of the individual. The Moon owns the fifth house from the fifth. Its aspect to the sign of Jupiter in the fifth house from the ascendant could indicate the grandchildren of the individual. The period of the Moon may see birth of grandchildren. It is the owner of the eleventh house from the eleventh. Hence the elder sibling of the individual will also be successful. The Moon in with Jupiter will give much wealth to the individual. His stay abroad too will be successful when the Moon is in with Venus. The Moon in with Saturn represents the mother of the individual. It occupies the eighth house from the fourth and therefore with this it will represent the longevity and death of the mother. The individual will have to travel much for his livelihood. There could be change in residence for the individual in the period of the Moon. The Moon in with Rahu will generate income through foreign sources. The Moon in with Ketu shows that the individual will be successful in his pursuit of spiritualism. Ketu in with the Moon gets a mind, as it is otherwise a headless entity. It will make the individual a person with agile mind. The results of the Moon in Uttar Phalguni will be similar to the Sun in Hasta. The Moon in Chitra will indicate younger siblings of the father of the individual. The quality of their lives would be determined by the quality of influence that the Moon receives in this constellation. MARS will be in an inimical sign in the eleventh house. The individual will have wow and difficulties with regard to his success and income. Sarvarth Chintamani predicts loss of wealth. The elder sibling of the individual will be a short tempered person and he may lead a life that would not be easy. Saravali states that the individual will be eloquent, good at writing, and skilful. The individual will show very good performance at school and college as Mercury in with Saturn will show his education. The individual should take to writing as he is expected to do well at it. Mercury is the owner of the fourth house from U16 fifth. Hence it will indicate the academic career of the children of the individual. As Mercury is exalted the career should be good. This may put much strain on the children as Mercury projects debilitated aspect to the fifth house. Mercury in with Jupiter will give outstanding ability to speak. The success of the individual will depend on his expression. He may also be extraordinarily learned. This generally produces sudden gains without any effort like through lottery. Venus owns the seventh house and therefore represents sex, spouse, and women. The individual may have several women in his life when Venus is in with Mercury. Mercury is an intellectual planet and Rahu is a planet of secrets and the unknown. The unknown of Rahu generally relates to the mundane whereas the unknown of Ketu relates to supra-mundane. Mercury owns the eight house of secrets and unknown. Hence when Mercury is in with Rahu the individual will successfully unravels secrets of the world and time; when it is in with Ketu the secrets will relate to the other world. JUPITER in a sign of Mercury will still give good financial results but being in an inimical sign the quantum of success will be limited. Hora Pradeep states that the individual will gain through religious acts. This benefit of placement of Jupiter may not be available to the younger siblings of the individual as Jupiter projects debilitated aspect to the third house. The children of the individual may be a source of much happiness to him since Jupiter projects aspect to its own house. The individual may not get much from his spouse in his endeavours as Jupiter projects inimical aspect to the seventh house. Jupiter in Uttar Phalguni shows that the field of management will be a possible source of

earning for the individual. If Jupiter has aspect of a naturally beneficial planet it will be favourable in this regard to him; if the aspect on it is that of a naturally malefic planet he will not succeed. The individual may not have satisfaction from the affairs represented by the house. RAHU will be in a friendly sign in the elevend'l house. The individual will try hard to gain wealth but it will be late in coming. He will be prosperous towards the second half of his life. The individual will be successful at diplomatic assignments and he will be happy with journeys abroad but he will have to be careful of strangers and attempts to deceive him in the period of Rahu. Jatakabhamam states that the individual will get favours from government in the period of Rahu. Rahu in Dhanishtha will comparatively be less helpful. The individual will be a successful person when the Sun is in with Venus. It may cause death of the mother when the Sun occupies Uttar Bhadrapada constellation of Saturn. The Sun will give success to the individual in matters relating to the government. It also represents a successful father. The MOON in the eleventh house will set up a between the third house and eleventh. Brihat Parashar Hora Shastra says that the individual will always gain through trading. The individual will be helped by females. The third house represents ear according to Uttar Kalamrita and Jupiter is the karaka for it.
